The streetscape of New York is never static. And as one building gives way to another, it opens a brief
window where you can see across space once and in future again filled. One such window - that where the
Catholic Center at NYU used to be - has started to close after more than a year. Catch it while you can - here viewed from Fifth Avenue above the Park. (Actually, much of what you see around it is new, from the new fountain in Washington Square Park to the new building, one of the new World Trade Center towers, behind it.)
