The
Times has mapped out demographic changes registered by the 2010 census. My neighborhood of Prospect Heights is indeed among the most quickly gentrifying - that is, an Afro-Caribbean population is being pushed out by white folks like me. The map below names Prospect Heights as one of the New York neighborhoods which has changed most. The analysis above (using a different color code: blue = black; green = white) shows Park Slope and Prospect Heights population (not population change) in more detail. My block (just above the densest concentration of dots), surely mostly light blue a decade ago, has changed completely.
