Springs sprung

Fall is fast descending here; the maple next door, of which I showed you a picture a fortnight ago, is nearly bare, and the oaks have gone all brown. Hard to imagine that the trees in New York might be looking like the one budding above (taken 3 years ago today), let alone that there might be noisy crowds of tulips, like those jostling to get into the pic below (taken in Chicago, today 2 years ago)!
