Jury duty day 6

In MetroTech Central Commons, as one part of a five-part Public Art Fund project called Total Recall, I happened today on these fascinating boxes - into which you could sort of, almost, but, ultimately, never really quite see. Apparently the work, "Minimal Consumption/Reflective Sublime/Aspirational Sunset Art" by Martin Basher, discloses its contents at night, and is about consumption. But to me it seemed appropriate if a little cruel to position it near the Brooklyn courts!

[Jury duty update: closing arguments finished today. Deliberation tomorrow. You can see Basher's boxes from our 20th floor jury room.]
