
Well, I'm through half of my photos - finally got to the holy lake and mountain - and managed to get rid of about every fourth shot! To give you a sense how we got there, here's an image from Google Earth, and a map I found
here. (Google Maps has minimal info on Chinese territory.)


We headed northeast from Kathmandu (A) toward the only open border of China and Nepal, stayed our first night in Tibet in Nyalamu (B), the next two in Saga (C) before a long day's drive to the holy lake of Mansarovar, just north of which Kailash sits in its kora. More soon!
