Starstruck

Went with my Lived Religion in New York class to the Eldridge Street Museum and Synagogue - first time I've been to this gorgeous place, an old favorite, since the installation of a window by Kiki Smith. The window was huge, bathing the place in morning light, but - especially from the gallery, where you saw how it drew on the existing colors and décor of the synagogue, it's glorious.
