so I took the morning to visit the Field Museum, Chicago's natural history and anthropology museum, built around collections from the 1893 Columbian Exhibition. As public museums on weekdays often are, it was awash groups of school children, whose voices swirled gaily through the halls, their excitement, often at heritages discovered, was infectious.
