Learned yesterday that the board of the co-op building we'd applied to live in had turned down our application. Disappointing, especially after two months of wrangling about the "board package," supplying endless answers to loan underwriters, etc., etc. But whatcha gonna do? No explanation was given - it never is - so all we can do is pick up our deposit and move on. Who'd want to live in such people's building anyway? Maybe we dodged a bullet!
