Day trip to see our friends in Ossining. Before feasting together we went to Union Chapel of Pocantico Hills, an austere stone church built by the art-loving Rockefellers and filled, over the ensuing decades, with memorial stained glass windows, most by Marc Chagall. Photography inside isn't permitted, but their website has images of a few of the windows which capture some of the glowing depth of Chagall's colors.
