Back in San Diego, whose airport is decorated with exquisite Huichol and Tepehuano yarn paintings - but all alas behind reflective glass! The best I could do to give you a sense of these wonderful worlds was to to snap at extreme angles. Maximino Rentería's "La Inundacion" (above) is actually symmetrical left-to-right, the disk in the center a circle. And below is as much of Te'may's "Agua, cielo y tierra" as I could manage.
