Intergenerational

I had the occasion this evening to introduce one of the oldest members of the New School family, a veteran of WW2 who got a BA at The New School in 1948, to one if its youngest, a first year Lang student in her first semester. Though I'm not sure they quite understood everything the other was saying, they were enchanted at the sight of each other.

'48 to '13: "Before the GI Bill college was something only 6% of the population had the chance to do."

'13 to '48: "One of my friends in high school got so wigged out over APs that it completely screwed up her ovarian system."
