I've been busy preparing a powerpoint for my talk on Wednesday. I don't usually teach with powerpoint, though I use it as a sort of slide show sometimes, and it helped us present our often visual materials in the New School history course. All lectures here are powerpointed, though, I'm told - and the instructor generally shares the slides afterwards. Pressure! Less space for ad lib inspiration but it's forcing me to be more precise than I might otherwise be, though. Doubtless, like every new presentation, it'll teach me something valuable about Job - as I've learned something unexpected about eggs from the fact that most here are sold not in boxes but in bags. Who even knew that was possible?
