Memorial

Here are some of the ice cream sundaes we helped assemble at Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen yesterday. I've been part of a holiday sundae assembly line here before, in the heady pre-covid days when the church was full of the happy din of guests at tables, and this was a more muted, somewhat smaller scale affair. While the food is assembled in the sanctuary, guests receive it from a little tent set up in front of the church entrance, and have to take it with them to eat somewhere else. Still, our sundaes apparently were well received!
