Here's a map for you, produced just a few months ago, the NYC Storm Flood model. I've been lucky to live in the slightly more elevated areas named Heights - Prospect, now Morningside - so torrents of rain don't stay here but flow away, down eventually to rivers or bays, I suppose. But before that happens there are lots of places susceptible to "nuisance flooding" (light blue) and, in the case of an extreme storm like Ida, "deep and continguous flooding" (dark blue).
