Hidden colors

This almost surreal scene shows Torrey Pines State Beach after big winter surf has scrubbed the beach of sand and replaced it with rocks - except where it hits the lip of the oyster-filled green Del Mar formation hidden beneath the piled strata of sandstone, which reveal their own caches of secret color as they crumble.
