The forecast predicting a dull cloudy day turned out to be spectacularly wrong, so we took advantage of the clear northern light to explore Île Miscou. That's Québec in the distance above, a cluster of orchids and pitcher plants in a peat bog below, the impressive Phare Miscou at left.
