Went back to the Today Art Museum, where I was enchanted by a clever exhibition of work by Wu Ningya, who works between Spain and China, dedicated to the Velazquez' famous "Las Meninas." Wu has fun with the eponymous shape of dresses of those times, creating works in an dizzting array of materials from curtains to architectural detritus, chrome to corn, along the way honoring the long history of artistic engagement with this shape. 
The original painting is famous also for its prescient play with authorship and mirrors, so Wu created a room in which patrons could selfie themselves into Velazquez' world - while others cannily snapped them!
