Went out for the once-in-three-days grocery run this afternoon, and found these beauties. How I miss crowds! So I was especially excited for the 7pm "clap for essential workers," when all of us were to open our windows and applaud the front-line workers who make life possible. Not
too many people up here, but we heard someome clap from somewhere across the subway tracks and that was enough - and then made out, in the distance, a wave of clapping and cheering. I hope we do this every night that the City is under siege, and that it grows and grows.
