Melting point

A greeter in a chilly box store I popped into to escape the excessive heat advisory this afternoon said it was like a refrigerator; what was it like outside? Speaking whereof I know not I said that it was like an air fryer. I don't even really know what an air fryer is or does, though I know it's been a thing for a few years now, but I imagine it's something like what the pavement contributes to the heat index. (Cartoon)
